What is Dim Media you ask?
Dim Media is a Twin Cities based artist collective, combining the talents of Charles Denton, Joe Lipscomb, Blaine Garrett and Ivy Sendrijas. This collection of artist uses various methods and mediums to integrate their talents, interests and passions into a mixture of well-baked ingredients. Although, the artists share an appreciation for the surreal, the narrative, and expression, they differ drastically in style. Through these collaboration and color experimentations, Dim Media offers many bizarre combinations of paintings and illustrations that fluctuate between realism, comic, and the abstract. Their work combines layers of color, thought, and imagery.
Recently on their pallet, Dim Media produced a series of infamous “Celebrity Portraits” that have been displayed throughout the Twin Cities this year and will continue to be shown into 2010.
Dim Media personally engineers and produces a Pod Cast (Krapp’s Last Cast) for lighthearted humored individuals who don’t get offended easily. It is available for Audio listeners to download to itunes and onto their ipods.
Dim Media publishes and distributes a small press Coffee inspired Comic/Fiction Zine throughout the Twin Cities and online for download accessibility.
Dim Media has published a Drink Recipe Book and a Children’s Story.

“For those that don’t know dim media, or understand visual art let me explain these guys.
An artist is someone who makes and creates what he sees, feels or reflects, it is lucid state, or funtime*
They put hard time & thought and most try to be individual as this gives them a stronger voice in a choir.
Dim Media is a collective, they work on something, and then pass it around and others alter and change what they just spent an hour doing.
This is so intelligent, not only do they break a barrier that most will live their entire lifetime and still not realize, from the start, from the get go, they break it, they understand it, and continue.
Their work in the exhibit reflects this, you can’t even tell who did what, or what is where because its all one dream. One dreamland, or one mind. A connection. They have achieved this and humbly present their masterful work. Not only does it reflect individualism or self-expression, it is a collage of change and transition.
It is a stamp of time, their friendship and talents, signature. Style. Class. Immortal.
Great work.”
